Diepoltshofen is a village and part of the municipality Waidhofen in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen .
location
The formerly independent community of Diepoltshofen is located three kilometers south of Waidhofen in the middle of the Hallertau in the Ingolstadt planning region . The places Altenburg, Ammersberg, Rachelsbach, Waizenried and Westerbach belonged to the former municipality and together form the district of Diepoltshofen.
history
In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , the community of Diepoltshofen was created with the community edict of 1818 . On October 1st, 1971 Diepoltshofen and its suburbs were incorporated into Waidhofen as part of the municipal reform in Bavaria .
