Speyer morning post

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Speyerer Morgenpost was a local newspaper in Speyer . Its seat was the press house at Ludwigsstrasse 9 on Königsplatz.

It was founded on January 2, 2003 by Wolfgang Martin, the publisher of the Viernheimer Tageblatt , also a local newspaper, and several advertising papers. She was able to take over many subscribers and many employees of the recently discontinued Speyerer Tagespost .

She got her coat when the Gießener Anzeiger was founded and in 2008 from Badisches Tagblatt GmbH. The newspaper was published by VVS Vorderpfälzische Verlagsgesellschaft Speyer GmbH and in 2009 had a print run of 6100 copies.

The newspaper was in competition with the Speyerer Rundschau , a local edition of the Rheinpfalz , and the pure Internet newspapers speyer-aktuell.de and speyer-kurier.de .

At the end of 2014 the newspaper disappeared from the market, as did the managing director, who had already been banned from performing his duties in October 2013.
