The Badisches Tagblatt (BT) is a daily newspaper for the Rastatt district and the Baden-Baden district. It appears in four local editions: Baden-Baden, Rastatt, Bühl and Murgtal. 50 editors and work on the news offering editors .

history

The Badischer Tagblatt emerged from the merger of the newspapers Südwest-Echo ( Rastatt ) and the Badener Tagblatt ( Baden-Baden ) in 1951.
The latter was originally founded under the name of advertising paper for the Grand Ducal City of Baden in 1811 as a spa and advertising newspaper. In 1941 the newspaper was no longer allowed to appear due to the war, and it was then distributed under the guise of the Völkischer Beobachter . In August 1945, received Tagblatt as the first newspaper in the French occupation zone a license .
The Südwest-Echo goes back to the Rastatter Wochenblatt from 1803.
