The Ravensburger Spieleland is an amusement park opened on April 5, 1998 by Ravensburger AG between Ravensburg and Lake Constance . The park has repeatedly been named Germany's most family-friendly theme park. Directly to the west was the Mini Mundus Bodensee miniature park from 2005 to 2012 .

The 30.5 hectare site is located in the Liebenau district of the Meckenbeuren community south of Ravensburg . The theme park is advertised with the slogan "Adventure, games and action for the whole family". The target group of the Ravensburger play area are mainly families with children, the park names families with children between two and twelve years as the core target group. In 2015 the Ravensburger Spieleland won the 6,000,000. Welcoming visitors since opening. According to the company, 40 percent of visitors in 2012 were tourists.
Since April 2006, Spieleland has owned a River Rapid Ride from Intamin with alpine rafting . This attraction is the park's largest single investment to date. The boats that were newly developed for this facility, each for nine people, are transported 12 meters upwards with a vertical elevator built for the first time by the manufacturer , in order to then descend the eight-meter-high steep descent at up to 36 km / h. This is followed by the actual 400 meter long route, which for the first time in Intamin systems offers a whirlpool ( whirlpool ).
Since April 2011, children have been able to practice traffic rules at walking pace in a traffic school with 25 electric cars and get their “driver's license”. At the start of the 2012 season, a 1,500 m² water playground was opened in Mitmachland. In 2013, Spieleland opened the Buntes SchokoHaus by Ritter Sport , a ten-meter-high building in which visitors can make their own 100 g bar of chocolate for a fee. In 2014 a family vertical ride with the name Here comes the mouse opened! themed after Die Sendung mit der Maus . The ride offers space for eleven people on a movable passenger carrier. In addition, the mouse has been a walking act in the amusement park since 2014 . Since March 19, 2016, families have been able to compete against each other in the 600 m² Bosch Car Service workshop world with four original large vehicles to change wheels for a limited period. The “basketball with the mouse” basketball court opened in the mouse and elephant adventure world. At the start of the 2017 season, the "animation studio with Captain Blaubär & his friends" was opened. In a workshop here, visitors can learn how a cartoon is made and create a film themselves using stop-motion technology. The animation studio offers space for 40 people at 20 work stations.

Holiday village
After the "Mini Mundus Bodensee" was closed, a holiday village belonging to the Spieleland was built on its old site and opened on July 1, 2016. Overnight guests can choose between 50 themed holiday homes and 15 “Why? Why? Why?” Research tents. The holiday homes take up three themed areas of the play area. The guests spend the night at Maus & Elefant, Käpt'n Blaubär or in the Ravensburger Spielewelt.
The non-fiction book series "Why? Why? Why?" Is the inspiration for the research tents. With the included researcher kit, children can playfully learn everything about forests, meadows and insects.
There are also around 40 parking spaces for caravans and mobile homes.
The holiday village restaurant offers buffets of regional and seasonal dishes in the morning and in the evening.
