The Spitalkirche zum Heiligen Geist or Hospitalkirche in the old town of Schwäbisch Hall is a secular sacred space in the building complex of the former Haller hospital . The church hall was integrated into the new building in the course of the reconstruction of the hospital building after the great city fire of 1728 and furnished in the Baroque style. The hospital was rebuilt in its current form from 1731 to 1738 according to plans by Johann Ulrich Heim.

In an art guide by Eugen Gradmann from 1907, the Hospital Church is described as follows:

It is a hall with a flat plaster ceiling and has high round arches and small round windows. There are scaffolding galleries on both sides of the nave . Furnishing a part of wall pulpit with figural, partially gilt, bronzed stucco that Peter , Paul and angels represent. In front of it is the table altar with a wrought iron railing. There is an oil painting on the table that depicts the Last Supper and a crucifix on it . The ceiling fresco was painted by JM Roscher and shows the sky with the saints and the history of the church, including the reformers , in a perspective arrangement above a columned hall equipped with musicians. The angels, apostles and evangelists are shown in eight medallions .

The room was converted into a concert hall in 1964 and is now used as a baroque ballroom for events.
