Sporting Fingal Football Club , ( Irish : Cumann Peile Fhine Gall ) was a semi-professional football club from County Fingal, Ireland, founded in 2007 . The club was founded to fill Kilkenny City's vacant license in the League of Ireland and has therefore participated in the operations of the second platoon of the Irish professional league since its inception. After the 2010/11 season, the club disbanded.

Fingal had a successful 2009 season in the League of Ireland . He was promoted to the Premier Division and won the FAI Cup, qualifying for the 2010/11 UEFA Europa League . There the club was eliminated in the second qualifying round against the Portuguese representative Marítimo Funchal .
