Sports car race Tre Province 1931
The third Tre Province sports car race took place on August 9, 1931.
The race
As can be seen from the name of the racing event, the race touched three Italian provinces. The race on the Circuito Tre Province , a 128 km long route from Bologna via Pistoia to Modena, was the last race in which Enzo Ferrari took part as a racing driver. In 1929 he founded his own racing team, Scuderia Ferrari , for which he occasionally competed as a driver.
In this race he only had to admit defeat to Tazio Nuvolari , who was contractually bound to the Scuderia as a driver.
