The Werreanger sports center (also: Werreanger school and sports center) includes the school center with its sports halls and the Werreanger stadium ("Carl-Heinz-Reiche Stadium"), which is located at Breite Straße 30 in the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​of Lage in the district Lip are meant.

After the stadium was built in the mid-1970s, Lage saw itself as the “City of Sports”; the Werreanger sports center is used by the German Athletics Association (DLV) as a performance base. The LG Lage-Detmold-Bad Salzuflen trains there. The stadium is the home ground of the 1st team and the youth of SuS Lage 1912 .

The Werreanger stadium was built from 1976 to 1977, the grandstands were added from 1982 to 1983, the running tracks were renovated in 1983, grandstand seats were installed in 1990 and Sports Hall II was built and in 1991 the running tracks were adapted to international standards.

With a capacity of 3,000 seats, the stadium is the largest sports facility in the area. It has category A / 8 and is equipped with eight plastic circular tracks and eight sprint straights as well as all athletic facilities. The fully covered grandstand offers space for up to 1,100 spectators; the lawn is equipped with a floodlight system.

Attached is a 68 m × 105 m tennis court .

German and regional championships of different age groups are held regularly. The stadium is also regularly used for football league games.

In 2010 the stadium was named after the entrepreneur and sports patron Carl-Heinz Reiche , who died in 2009 and who made a significant contribution to the development of the Lagen sports facilities.

Athletics halls

The sports halls I and II at the Werreanger school center have a wide range of sports facilities for holding major events and tournaments. Three small playing fields, each 22 mx 44 m (plastic) are available; a 127 m × 45 m sports hall, a gymnastics hall, a weight room and a small sports hall II. They are equipped with 5 m × 60 m sprint degrees, long jump, high jump and pole high system; no seats.
