Spotless Publishing House

The Spotless-Verlag (eng. Spotlessly is) a publishing house , founded in September 1991. The first book was published in 1991. Since 2008 the Spotless publishing house has belonged to the Edition Ost of the Eulenspiegel publishing group .

The Spotless publishing house predominantly gathers authors from the GDR who got sidelined after German reunification , including Günter Görlich , Eberhard Panitz , Harry Thürk , Gerhard Holtz-Baumert , Erich Köhler and Walter Flegel . Klaus Huhn was the main author and, until the end of 2006, the main person in charge within the meaning of the press law.

According to the GDR researcher Karl Wilhelm Fricke , the publishing house has committed itself to historical revisionism . Networks of former Stasi employees and their former IMs pursued a planned strategy of a history-cluttering publication policy.
