.sPout. is an Austrian crossover band from Wolfsberg (Carinthia) .

history

The band was founded in 1998 by singer and guitarist Aaron Schüssler when he was recording his first songs with his PC in his apartment. With the finished recordings he was able to search for the musicians. In July 2006 guitarist and songwriter René Juri left the band in favor of his studies after DJ Jookie (Mario Frajuk) left the band in March after five years of membership.

Among others, the band played in the opening act for Machine Head (Vienna), Life of Agony (Vienna), Die Happy ( Rock am Bach ) and the H-Blockx ( Donauinselfest ). There have also already been tours through Great Britain, Germany, Austria and Italy as well as an appearance at Popkomm 2003 in Cologne and second place at the Yamaha Band Contest in Vienna.

The album “We're Going Straight to Hell” was released again on April 20, 2007 on the band's own label ruff.tunes records (distributed by edel ).

In 2009 the bassist Manfred Sattler left the band and was replaced by David Schwarz after a few months.

In January 2012 the band announced that they will split up.
