The Spring Point ( French Cap W. Spring ) is a headland on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It delimits the entrance from Hughes Bay to Brialmont Bay to the south .
Participants of the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery discovered them and made a rough map. De Gerlache named it after the Belgian chemist Walthère Victor Spring (1848–1911), a member of the expedition commission.
