The Saathainer Fountain is a listed building in the Saathain district in the Röderland municipality in the Elbe-Elster district in southern Brandenburg . He is as a stationary image formative monument in the local memorial directory listed below the detection number 09,135,490th

The design of the figure of the fountain created in 1930 was created by the Munich sculptor Christoph Franz Peter (* 1860), who was born in Sondershausen and who once also designed the male bronze figure "Schreck" of the Duke Alfred Fountain in the Coburg Hofgarten , which was built in 1903 . The location of the fountain was originally in front of the Saathain Palace , which was destroyed in a fire in April 1945 and of which only the foundation walls are preserved today. In 1953 it was finally moved to its current location on the local village square.
