action

Alexandre is invited to a game of squash by his supervisor Charles . Alexandre is late because Nicole made a mistake in the bookkeeping and he helped her. Charles asks Alexandre if he has ever slept with Nicole. When he says no , Charles suggests that he knew other things about the Chamonix seminary , but then admits he was just joking. From the beginning of the game, Charles puts Alexandre under psychological pressure, concluding from Alexandre's style of play that he has a bad work ethic and his lack of self-confidence. When Alexandre can turn the game around at 4-0 and it is finally a draw, Charles points out that he let him win a couple of rounds.

In the game, Charles Alexandre hits the ball in the face. Shortly before the match point and with high leadership, Charles determines that he will fire Alexandre and Nicole because Alexandre is a loser and Nicole's mistakes have shown that he is passing on his loser traits to other colleagues. Shortly afterwards, he relativized his statement: If Alexandre loses the game, he will also lose his job. If he wins, he can stay with the company. Although Charles plays unfairly, Alexandre creates the tie to 8: 8. He is now injured after Charles fouled him so that a knee injury breaks open again. He also has a bloody scratch on his face. Just before the crucial match point, Alexandre uses a characteristic phrase that Charles' wife uses while she sleeps with her husband. Alexandre admits he has cheated on Charles' wife for quite some time. This upsets Charles so much that he eventually loses the game. He wants to fire Alexandre immediately, but he says he has bluffed. The walls at the Chamonix seminary were very thin, so he heard Charles and his wife. In addition, he is now blackmailing Charles with a recording of that co-sleeping. Charles, who is unsure whether Alexandre actually has explosive recordings, says that both will be a very good work team in the future. You are leaving the squash field.
