Srby is a district of the Czech municipality of Tuchlovice in Okres Kladno . The village is located in Středočeský kraj at an altitude of 425 meters above sea level.
geography
Srby is one kilometer northeast of Tuchlovice and six kilometers west of the town of Kladno on the left side of the Loděnice . To the west and south-west are the ponds Záplavy and Turyňský rybník, the latter is the largest in Okres Kladno with a water surface of 51.02 hectares . A large forest extends north and east of the village. The main source of income for the village is forestry and agriculture.
history
Before 1980, Srby was an independent municipality with 383 inhabitants. In 1980 Srby was merged with Tuchlovice and since then has formed one of the two districts of the rural municipality of Tuchlovice. In 1991 the place had 316 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 157 houses in which 355 people lived.
