The Roman Catholic Church Saint-Clément is located in Vionville in Arrondissement Metz in the department of Moselle in France . The tower and choir of the church have been classified as a monument ( Monument historique ) since 1898 .

history

The church was originally owned by the Gorze Abbey . The oldest component is the early Gothic choir tower with a semicircular apse, which was built at the beginning of the 13th century . It has an arched choir bay in its basement and coupled windows on the upper floor. The tower was raised in the Baroque period and provided with a curved roof with a lantern. The nave was built in the 19th century .
