The Roman Catholic Church of St-Denis in Berville , a French parish in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built from the 13th century. The building has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1920 .

history

The church, dedicated to St. Dionysius , was built in three phases. The Gothic choir dates from the 13th century, the bell tower and transept from the second half of the 16th century, and the Renaissance style portal was built around 1552 in the form of a triumphal gate . The sculpture of St. Dionysius is set in a smaller triumphal gate above the architrave .
