St-Louis is a Roman Catholic church in the French city of Brest ( Finistère department ) in Brittany .

history

The original church from the 18th century burned in the Battle of Brest on August 16, 1944. The new church was rebuilt at the same location between 1953 and 1958 according to designs by architects Yves Michel, Jean Lacaille, Jacques Lechat, Yves Perrin and Herve Weisbein built.

On April 8, 2018, Bishop Laurent Dognin celebrated the 60th anniversary of the church's rebuilding with a mass.
