St-Memmie Church in Bergères-lès-Vertus

The Catholic Church of St-Memmie in Bergères-lès-Vertus , a French commune in the Marne department of the Grand Est region , was originally built in the 12th century in the Romanesque style and changed in the Flamboyant style at the beginning of the 16th century .

The church is dedicated to St. Memmie , the first bishop of the Diocese of Châlons from the 3rd century.

Of the church furnishings , the Gothic font and the high altar from the 17th century are worth mentioning.
