The St. Benno district is a municipality part of the Munich district Maxvorstadt .

location

The quarter is northwest in the Maxvorstadt district. It begins west of Stiglmaierplatz and is bordered by Nymphenburger Straße , Dachauer Straße and parts of Lazarettstraße. At the western end of the St. Benno district, between Lazarettstrasse and Lothstrasse, the German Heart Center Munich and the Lothstrasse campus of the Munich University of Applied Sciences are located . Lothstrasse and parts of Lazarettstrasse form the border between Maxvorstadt in the east and Neuhausen-Nymphenburg in the west.

Naming

It is named after the parish church of St. Benno , which is located in this quarter.

Parking guidance system

In 2008 a parking license area in Munich was given the same name. It includes small parts of Neuhausen-Nymphenburg .
