Chipman River is a river in the far north of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan .

The river has its origin in Selwyn Lake . It leaves Selwyn Lake at its southwest end, then flows through Bompas Lake , and after about 50 km reaches Black Lake . The catchment area covers 6580 km², the discharge rate is 13 m³ / s.
