The Sankt Silvester Chapel is an octagonal building with a lantern with eight windows and an onion dome . The tuff base surrounds the entire building, the portal is framed in tuff. On the south side of the chapel there is a sundial with the date and the presumable initials of the donors' names (D · S S. Silvester GS - 1670). Under the sundial lies the image of St. New Year's Eve.

The interior of the chapel is designed with a dome vault with stitch caps that rest on consoles . The star-like stucco rib structure , which is decorated with small stucco rosettes , was modeled on the nave vault of the church of St. Michael in Lienz, made by Bartlmä Vierthaler. The altar dates from the second half of the 17th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century. It consists of a structure of columns and entablature and has a curved top with cartilage ornamentation. The wooden altar frame simulates marble . The altarpiece shows the two donors with the holy New Year's Eve. The ox, which is also shown, is supposed to refer to the legend of the founding of the chapel. According to this, the donors each owned an ox that was driven to an alpine pasture. After an ox crashed, the two donors argued because of the strong similarity between the two animals, who owned the surviving animal. Since they did not come to a conclusion, they donated the capital for the chapel from the proceeds of the animal.

Under the altarpiece there is a copy of the miraculous image of Mary from the Good Council of Genazzano from the second half of the 18th century. The image of grace is framed with a baroque frame and is flanked by two candlestick angels. There are two statues to the side of the altar. The left statue represents St. Joachim , the right statue St. Anna with Maria . Other elements of the chapel are a baroque figure of St. New Year's Eve and stations of the cross from the 18th century.
