St. Thomas Church

The Evangelical Lutheran St. Thomas Church in the village of Bohmte in the parish of Bramsche belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Regional Church of Hanover .

Built in 1955 according to plans by the architect Werner Johannsen (Osnabrück), it owes its current appearance primarily to the work of the artist couple Theo and Ruth Landmann during the thorough renovation in 1967.

The parish belonged to the Arenshorst parish at the time of construction and became independent in 1964. It currently has about 3200 parishioners.
