Ruth Landmann's works can be found in sacred and profane spaces and buildings. The clients were cities and municipalities, dioceses and churches.

At the beginning of her artistic activity, Ruth Landmann still carried out the ceramic wall designs in two dimensions. The mostly objective, figurative drawings were scratched into tiles and the surfaces were laid out with colored engobes or glazes . She later worked on the ceramic material in more detail. Large-format, colored glazed and engobed reliefs and bas-reliefs with their own typical surface modeling and design were created.

In working on the topics, Ruth Landmann combined her basic Christian-religious attitude more and more closely with scientific and humanistic findings in the course of her many years of creative work. She expressed this unmistakably in the design.
