St. Vincencius Church in Husby

The Evangelical Lutheran St. Vincencius Church in Husby , a community in the fishing region in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein , is a field stone church that was built from carefully hewn granite blocks. Originally it had no tower and a narrower choir . The granite baptism with reliefs has been preserved from the time the church was built . The late Romanesque statue of the Archangel Michael dates from around 1230 . There is also a late Gothic figure of Saint Vincentius and a figure of Mary with the child.

At the end of the 18th century the nave was extended to the east, with the choir and apse being destroyed. The late Baroque altarpiece from 1786 contains 13 late Gothic carved figures from the 15th century.
