St. Aegidius (Kleinkomburg)
The former church of St. Agidius (St. Gilgen, St. Ilgen) of the nunnery in Kleinkomburg is located in the urban area of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg .

The building was donated in 1108 by Count Heinrich von Komburg-Rothenburg, a brother of the founder of Komburg Abbey . It is a Romanesque style basilica built on the plan of a Latin cross. Paintings adorn the dome of the apse . In 1684 the sacred building was given a baroque interior , which was removed again in 1877 when the church was re-Romanized. The high altar sheet, which was created by Johann Heinrich Schönfeld , remains from the Baroque era .
