St. Anna (Lenhausen)
The Catholic parish church of St. Anna is a listed church building at Westfalenstrasse 21 in Lenhausen , a district of Finnentrop in the Olpe district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The three-bay , neo-Gothic hall church with a west tower , a transept and the choir bay with a 5/8 end , was built from 1896 to 1898 under the supervision of Johannes Franziskus Klomp ; the construction work was the responsibility of the building contractor Anton Sunder-Plassmann from Förde (today: Grevenbrück ).
The hammer right quarry stone is by stone outline revived. The walls are divided by buttresses , lancet and large round windows. Cross and diamond star vaults with red and black glazed molded brick ribs were drawn into the interior . The unmounted altars date from the time the church was built; some of the reliefs have been renewed. The figure of the Good Shepherd made of softwood was carved in the 17th century.
