St. Bonifatius (Mönchengladbach)
The Catholic branch church St. Bonifatius is in the Hardterbroich-Pesch district of Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), Hardterbroicher Straße 62.
The church was built in 1905/06. It has been recorded in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach since November 4, 1993 under No. H 077 .
location
The property is located on Hardterbroicher Straße, which connects the Hermges district with the Bungtwald. The buildings No. 58 youth home with parish hall, No. 60 chaplaincy and sexton's apartment, No. 62 parish church and No. 64 pastorate form a structural unit.
architecture
The branch church is a gable-free , three-aisled brick building in neo-Gothic architectural forms. The facade is structured by narrow pillars, pointed and arched windows and differently designed cornice friezes . The north side is emphasized by a large roof turret. A chapel is attached to each side . The main entrance, which is arranged in the middle, is emphasized by two subsequently added entrances to the aisles.
Furnishing
organ
The organ was built in 1979 by the organ building company Romanus Seifert & Sohn from Kevelaer. The slider chest instrument has 16 registers distributed over two manual works and pedal work . The game and stop action are mechanical.
