The Catholic parish church of St. Clemenskirche is a listed church building in Hiltrup , a district of the independent city of Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia .

History and architecture

The church was built in 1913 according to plans by the architect Ludwig Becker ; it is not unlike the Marienkirche in Warendorf, also built by Becker . It is a three- aisled basilica , the apse of which faces north, with two square choir-flank towers that are approx. 45 m high.

organ

The organ was built in 2007 by the organ building company Romanus Seifert (Kevelaer). The slider chests -instrument is in French romantic style predisposed , but also has some register for the presentation of older organ music. It has 33 stops on three manuals and a pedal (the numbering corresponds to that on the console). All registers of the positif (II. Manual) are generated from the Grand Orgue using alternating loops . The manubriums are designed as levers that can be moved horizontally; On the console , the Grand Orgue and Pedal trains are in a row on the left, those of the Récit expressif are arranged on the right. The register levers of the alternating loop registers of the main work have three "positions": moved to the right they can be played on the first manual, moved to the left on the second manual and in the middle position (off) they correspond to the other levers in the repelled state. The playing and stop actions are mechanical. The two tremulants for Hauptwerk / Positif and Récit are designed as kicks. There are also two appeals (Fonds, Anches Récit) and a fixed combination (Choralforte), each as a kick.
