history

Ernst Seifert (I.) (* 1855, † 1928) was the founder of the three later Seifert organ building companies. In 1906, under the direction of his son Romanus Seifert, he founded a branch in Kevelaer on the occasion of the new organ building in the Marienbasilika there, which became independent from 1930 and continues to this day. The company in Kevelaer celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2010.
