St. Elisabeth

The Protestant village church of St. Elisabeth is in the Letzendorf settlement of the Endschütz community in the Greiz district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Wünschendorf in the parish of Gera of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The hall church has a late Gothic cross-rib vaulted choir made up of a transverse rectangular choir yoke and an east end broken on four sides. The roof turret is provided with an onion hood . The sacristy is located on the south side of the choir . The vestibule is to the west.

inner space

Three-sided galleries and the church stalls fill the room with a free-standing pulpit altar and colored carved figures from the 18th century. Figures of saints on the basket decorate the room. The sound cover is on slender Corinthian columns with the monogram cartouche held by angels .
