St. Georg in Nemsdorf

St. Georg is a listed Protestant church in the village of Nemsdorf in the municipality of Nemsdorf-Göhrendorf in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 16938 .

The patron saint of the sacred building, which can be found in Pfarrgasse in Nemsdorf, is St. George . The church is known as a parish church as early as 1400 . In the 16th century it became the mother church for Göhrendorf . Today's church is so strongly influenced by the Baroque that it is assumed that it will be new, only the tower substructure looks older than the rest of the building. The nave was built in 1730 and the steeple in 1793.
