St. John

history

At least from the 17th century there was a church building in the village at that time . After a stone loosened from the church tower fell between the worshipers during a storm in 1845 , the congregation decided to build a new building. The church building, which was built between 1847 and 1850 and named after John the Baptist , is the most important classical church in the region. The inauguration took place on September 25, 1848.

The furnishings come from this era .

From 1974 the later politician Bernhard Ritter was pastor at the church.
