St. Kilian Unterschüpf

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Kilian in Unterschüpf , a district of Boxberg in Main-Tauber-Kreis , was built in the mid 20th century and is the holy Kilian ordained .

history

The Kilian's Church was built in 1955/56. The church belongs to the pastoral care unit Boxberg-Ahorn, which is assigned to the deanery Tauberbischofsheim of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .

Church building and equipment

It is a modern church building from the middle of the 20th century. The church has a three-part bell from the Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling bell foundry from Heidelberg. The second bell is dedicated to Saint Kilian and the third, small bell to Saint Mary. The Gloria motif sounds. There is also a second bell. In a massive bell tower placed on the side of the entrance gable of the parish church, the three bells hang in a steel bell cage.
