St. Koloman is a Catholic field chapel in the Niederwinkling district of Lenzing . It is located on the left bank of the Danube at river kilometer 2304.25 and on the Danube cycle path . In Niederwinkling's list of monuments it is listed under D-2-78-159-3 as an architectural monument.

The year of construction of the church building is unknown. The chapel was first mentioned around 1500. In 1761 it was repaired by the Oberalteich monastery . In January 2016, the Free State of Bavaria became the owner, to whom it fell through statutory inheritance law. The plot has an area of ​​166 square meters , the usable area of ​​the building is 63 square meters.

Architecture and interior design

The Roman Catholic branch church St. Koloman is a three-sided closed and plastered gable roof building with a profiled eaves, three-storey facade tower with beveled corners and a cranked pyramid roof. St. Koloman is made in the late baroque style. The decoration includes the altar with a figure of St. Koloman holding a walking stick. The altar is framed by twisted columns. To the left and right of him hang life-size figures of St. Sebastian and St. Florian .
