Lenzing is part of the Niederwinkling community in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria .

Lenzing is located on the left bank of the Danube about two kilometers southwest of Niederwinkling.
history
In 1480, with the will of his father Ulrich and his brother-in-law Wolfgang Rammelsteiner, Chunrad Chamerauer zum Haidstein sold the Hof zu Lenzing to Erhard Harmair, Bürger zu Bogen . The single farm Lenzing was subordinate to the Hofmarkherrschaft Welchenberg in the care court Mitterfels and came after the community formation in the 19th century to the community Pfelling . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the wasteland of Lenzing was incorporated into the municipality of Niederwinkling with further parts of the dissolved municipality of Pfelling with effect from May 1, 1978 in accordance with the ordinance of April 12, 1976.
Attractions
- Filial church of St. Koloman. The late baroque building on the banks of the Danube was completely renewed in 1761 by the Oberalteich monastery , to which the church with the parish of Oberwinkling was incorporated. Due to the secularization in Bavaria , it came into the possession of the adjacent farm.
