St. Leonhard (Oberschönegg)
The Roman Catholic subsidiary church St. Leonhard is located in Oberschönegg in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The church is a listed building.
description
The church was built by Sebastian Lachenmayr and consecrated in 1686. The building consists of a hall with a flat ceiling . This is followed by the slightly drawn-in choir with a three-sided ending. There is a roof turret on the west side above the entrance . The high altar shows a crucifix with St. Mary Magdalene from the end of the 17th century. The gallery on the west side is adorned with panels depicting Salvator mundi and the apostles . These date from around 1700.
