St. Magnus Chapel in Eschach

The Catholic Chapel of St. Magnus in Eschach , a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Bernbeuren in the Weilheim-Schongau district , was built in 1727. The chapel on the main street is a protected architectural monument .

According to an inscription on the altarpiece, the flat-roofed and three-sided building was donated by Jakob Rüber. There is a roof turret on the western gable .

The painting on the altar shows the intercession of St. Magnus with Christ for the farmer and his child, who was healed by the laying on of the Magnus stick.
