St. Margareta is a Catholic branch church in Aislingen , a municipality in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube , which was built in the 15th century. The church is a protected architectural monument .

history

The St. Margareta consecrated church is located on the southwestern part of the town. It was built in the middle of the 15th century and redesigned in Baroque style in 1732 . The six-storey tower with a gable roof is located in the northern corner of the choir . The choir with arched windows is supported by buttresses . From 1985 to 1987 the church was extensively renovated.

Furnishing

Johann Baptist Weiß designed the late classical altars in 1838 . In the church there is an epitaph that Hieronymus Baroni had built for his parents and siblings in 1624.
