The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Margaretha in Forheim , a municipality in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries , was completely rebuilt in 1909 while retaining the old choir tower .

History and architecture

Between 1876 and 1881 the church tower was partly removed and rebuilt. The choir is located in the basement of the tower and is vaulted by a groin vault. The square tower has sound arcades in the form of twin windows and is crowned by a pointed helmet .

In 1909 the Gothic nave was completely renewed. It has a flat ceiling and a gallery to the west . A sacristy is built on the north side .
