The Catholic parish church of St. Michael is the district Holt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), St. Michael's Square. 3

The building was built between 1898–1903 and entered on November 2, 1993 under No. St 028 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

The church is located on the Aachener Straße leading from Mönchengladbach to Rheindahlen in the Holt district. The property is set back from the building line.

architecture

The building is a three-aisled hall church with a six-bay nave , three staggered, polygonal choirs , ribbed vaults , west tower and two flanking polygonal extensions: the baptistery in the north and the staircase in the south. The church was built from 1898 to 1903. The property is worthy of protection as a monument for urban planning, architectural and historical reasons as well as location and social history.
