St. Michael in Sopron

St. Michael ( Hungarian Szent Mihály főangyal templom ) is a church in Sopron , a town in western Hungary , built between the 13th century and the 15th century .

description

The sacred building was built in the Romanesque and Gothic styles . The church tower is 48 meters high and the interior is by pairs of columns in three ships divided. The winged altar was made by Ferenc Storno sen. Created in the neo-Gothic style, the old main altarpiece is by Bartholomeus Altomonte . There is also a Madonna statue carved from wood, which represents the church treasure .

There is a cemetery near the church.
