St. Nicolai (Ottstedt)
The Protestant village church of St. Nicolai is in Ottstedt am Berge in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia . The parish belongs to the parish association Niederzimmer in the parish of Weimar of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The church is located southeast of the cluster village .
history
The foundation stone was laid on March 15, 1713, and the church was consecrated at the 1713 fair. A major renovation was carried out in 2001, and storm damage to the roof had to be repaired in 2015.
Furnishing
The nave, a plastered hall with an impressive choir head , is equipped with a wooden crown with Baroque painting. The altar from the peasant baroque stands on palm stones. The organ from the 17th century is not playable.
