history

The construction of the church probably goes back to the Christianization of the region. The oldest components - nave and substructure of the tower - were built from stones from the area. During the Thirty Years' War the church burned down and was rebuilt on the remains of the wall. The chancel was enlarged and the church tower was given a baroque dome . The tower was equipped with a gilded top, a weather vane and an attached crown .

The nave

The entrance to the nave is on the tower side. Tower and galleries are accessible via an external wooden staircase. The bell stalls are located in the tower . Only one seat is occupied. The other two bells were melted down during World War II in 1942. The bell has been rung electrically since 1987.

The spacious chancel with a stone altar and two black marble columns is decorated with the oil painting “ The Last Supper ”. The pulpit is located above the altar .
