St. Stephanus (Esting)
The Catholic branch church St. Stephanus is a Romanesque church in Esting , a district of the municipality of Olching in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck .
history
The church was built in the first quarter of the 13th century, making it the oldest preserved monument in the Olching municipality. Like the Olching Church, it was originally a branch of the Parish of Emmering (today a branch of the Parish of St. Elisabeth in Esting).
Building description
The church is a listed building (number D-1-79-142-3) and is described as follows: “Romanesque choir tower from the 1st quarter of the 13th century, extension of the nave in the 2nd half of the 17th century; with equipment . "
