St. Stephanus in Fienstedt

St. Stephanus is a listed Protestant church in the district of Fienstedt of the unified municipality of Salzatal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 55301 . It belongs to the parish area Schochwitz in the parish of Halle-Saale district of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The sacred building consecrated to St. Stephen stands on a hill in Fienstedt. The end of the church tower is the so-called Welsche dome , a typical dome for churches that were damaged during the Thirty Years War . Today's church corresponds to the baroque architectural style .
