St. Theodul (Davos)
St. Theodul in Davos in the district of Davos Dorf is an evangelical - Reformed church that characterizes the town and was placed under the patronage of Theodor von Sitten when it was founded before the Reformation .
History and equipment
The oldest surviving part of the church is a frescoed room , which is dated to 1350 and served as the choir of a Romanesque-style church. Today it is used as a sacristy room that is open to the public outside of church services.
The current nave dates from 1514, an extension followed in 1913 with a breakthrough in the east wall. In 1961 the parish received the tower as a gift from the political parliamentary group . 1970 saw the inauguration of the new organ , built by Orgelbau Kuhn , Männedorf . The church was restored for the last time in 1986/87. It is under cantonal monument protection .

The Church of St. Theodul belongs to the Evangelical Reformed Church of Graubünden to the parish Davos Dorf and with this to the Colloquium X Davos-Albula .
Varia
The Theodul Prize is awarded annually in the Theodul Church to people from Davos who are involved in social or ecological projects.
