St. Wendelin Chapel in Waltenberg

The St. Wendelin Catholic Chapel in Waltenberg , a district of the Ebershausen community in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in the second half of the 18th century. The building at Kapellenstrasse 1 is a protected architectural monument .

The St. Wendelin consecrated chapel is situated in the hamlet . The two-axis rectangular building with a retracted semicircle apse has a roof turret on the top of the gable.

The paintings on the ceiling and walls in neo-baroque style date from the end of the 19th century. From the original furnishings , a crucifix and the altar , in which there are late Gothic assistants, are preserved.
