The NStB - Austria bis Saatz were steam locomotives of the Imperial and Royal Northern State Railways (NStB) of Austria-Hungary .

The seven locomotives were delivered by Cockerill in Seraing / Belgium from 1845 to 1846. They had the inclined cylinders typical of their time in order not to restrict the free movement of the bogie. The Stanitzel smoke trap indicates wood-burning.

The NStB gave them the names AUSTRIA , PODIEBRAD , WIESENBERG , SCHÖNBERG , PILSEN , KLATTAU and SAATZ as well as the company numbers 46–52.

When the NStB was sold to the StEG in 1855 , the machines were given company numbers 44–50. With the exception of number 46 WIESENBERG , all vehicles were withdrawn before 1873. The WIESENBERG came as number 1 in the second designation scheme of the StEG from 1873.
