St Fagans ( Welsh : Sain Ffagan ) is a village west of Cardiff in southern Wales .

St Fagans is known for its large open-air museum , St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life . In a park landscape, one can see relocated buildings such as churches, schools, farmsteads, businesses and residential buildings, which document the life of the Welsh people in past centuries. A farm from the late Iron Age with round houses was also modeled.
