The church patronage is up to the guild of haberdasher of the city of London .

history

The John the Baptist consecrated church was from 1824 to 1826 in the Georgian style of classicism by architect Francis Edwards built.

The church is now a Grade II * monument .

John Goldsmith , great-great-grandfather of Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge , married on September 23, 1850 in St. John's Parish Church.
